Most people like to add things to their foods at the time of preparation or at the time of consumption. Many extra bad calories due to fats are introduced into the diet at this stage. Be aware of butter, salt, margarines, sauces, gravy, dressings as they are rarely indicated as part of healthy eating recipes. There are many good low/ non-fat alternatives and natural ingredients that can be used to add flavour to dishes.
